This is the CAD design STEP file for my mini magnetic gear design. I’ve worked hard to simplify the design down as much as possible so that you can print it in only two parts and assemble your own version with the the absolute minimum number of additional hardware components. All you need to source are the outer and inner rotor magnets and iron pins complete the build.

In summary you will require:
eight - 8mm x 5mm x 2mm strong neodymium magnets
five - 8mm x 3mm steel cylindrical location pins
one - 10mm x 10mm diametrically magnetised cylindrical neodymium magnet
The stronger the magnets are the better!
